Good grooming is essential for your pet’s good health. Maine’s harsh climate and salt water can be especially tough on their coat.

Reigning Cats & Dogs uses the Prima Bathing System. It removes the stubborn oil and ground-in dirt that clings to your dog’s coat and skin. Prima’s gentle “pressure washing” system actually massages as it cleans. 

Afterward, your dog looks, feels and smells great!

Dog and Puppy Training 

You can teach an old dog new tricks. Young ones, too! 

Our classes are led by an expert with 30 years experience training all breeds and temperaments. Your pet will learn obedience, manners and socialization. You’ll also tackle challenges— together—that will keep him active, interested and young at heart. Taking a class together deepens the bond between you and your dog.

Choose from Puppy, Basic, Advanced Basic and our Canine Good Citizen class. Successful graduates of that receive the prestigious Canine Good Citizen® Award from the American Kennel Club—even if your dog is not a purebred.

Our training offers other benefits, too. Insurance companies are more willing to issue home-owner’s or renter’s policies for homes with dogs that have received training. Your premiums are often reduced, too.
